The problem I identified
Staff were spending substantial time manually processing information from patient intake forms. The work was repetitive, but accuracy mattered because the information supported healthcare operations.
With more than 500 forms processed each month, I saw an opportunity to reduce a recurring burden. Even a small improvement to each form could save meaningful time for staff.
My contribution
I identified the data-entry problem and helped develop an AI-powered intake platform that used generative AI to extract and organize patient information for staff review. The goal was to reduce repetitive work while keeping the workflow usable for the people relying on it.
Technologies: React, FastAPI, LangChain, MongoDB, and AWS.

What I learned
The value of AI depended on understanding an existing workflow, identifying where automation could help, and integrating the solution into something staff could use.
What I’m most proud of is recognizing a problem worth solving and helping turn that insight into something useful. This experience strengthened my interest in product management: understanding people’s frustrations, deciding what is worth building, and measuring whether it improves their work.
